As soon as you get your dental implants, your implantologist instructs you to not chew on hard food, rather recommends a soft diet for approximately 2 weeks to avoid repetitive trauma to the gums & instigate rapid healing.
You’ll also be advised to drink plenty of cold & nutritive fluids.

What one should not eat immediately after dental implants?
Since hard food can cause trauma to the unhealed site & might disrupt the healing & cause discomfort, you should not eat nuts, chips, popcorn, shells etc, immediately after the dental implants surgery.
Also, avoid hot food & beverages & carbonated drinks.
When one can eat solid food?
Once the soft tissue healing is accomplished, you are ready to eat more solid foods, since our objective is not to cause any discomfort to the unhealed gums.
